Knowing how to sew on a button or fix the hem in a pair of pants will save you stress and money. Learn basic hand sewing skills and where to buy notions to save your wardrobe like buttons, hems, hooks, snaps, and thread chain. *Students will need to provide the supplies listed as the barter item - but often one package of hook and eye or hook and bar are enough for a class. Barter system is in high play here! Let us know if you’d be willing to share. Here is a pinterest board of all items needed for this class for those who are not familiar (https://www.pinterest.com/kuglerbk/the-basics-life-sewing-materials/). If it seems like a lot of loot, remember that this is a sewing kit that you’ll actually use. If you cannot provide the needed supplies please contact Trade School 48 hours prior to class.
