When you envision your retirement, do you see yourself sipping a drink at your beach house or on that two week trip through Europe? Are you 55, 65, or 70 years old? When you ran the formulas to ascertain that your savings habits will help you reach those goals in that desired timeframe, how high were your probabilities of success? If you haven’t done that math, you aren’t alone. Over 75% of pre-retirees say they don’t have a retirement income plan, although an even higher percentage say they believe it’s important. Without a plan, a goal is truly just a wish, and the amount of time your plan has to work for you is a very important factor in reaching retirement goals. Come get educated now on the “need to knows” and leave with clear understanding around what it takes to reach your personal financial goals. Regardless if you are a more tenured saver/investor or if you are just getting started, you are sure to leave feeling empowered with newfound knowledge around the future of your own finances.
