Is your collection of digital photographs becoming more and more difficult to manage? Learn how to use Adobe’s powerful Lightroom software to better organize and dramatically enhance the photos you take. This hands-on class will cover the basics of using Lightroom to import and organize photos into intuitive collections that can be searched and filtered, manipulate and enhance photos to correct exposure issues, remove blemishes, alter color or contrast, and fix other common lighting issues. Additionally, you’ll learn how to export photos into various formats, apply watermarks, and learn what exports settings work best to make your photos amazing! This is Ben’s second class, having previously taught ‘Simple Photography Magic’. This class is hands-on and will be using the Adobe software - you will need a laptop, some Digital Photos on a SD Card, USB stick or Camera, and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom pre-installed on the laptop (a free trial can be downloaded here http://adobe.ly/1qxZDKo). If you do not mind just listening to the presentation, you are still welcome to attend.

About the teacher, Ben Turney

Computer guy by day, photographer by night, Ben Turney likes to dabble in all things technical and artsy. Naturally, Ben is drawn to photography as photography is both extremely technical and can be wonderfully artistic. While his day job pays the bills, he is a semi-professional photographer who has been "bending light" for over 20 years making interesting and creative images that are more than just photos. Ben is new to the Trade School experience but loves the concept of small, informal & local teaching opportunities. He really wants to help people overcome some of the technical hurdles in photography by giving them a hands-on experience learning about their camera and how to manipulate it to make photo magic!
