The instructor, Julie, has always had the calling to be a mother. A year ago, after much thought and consideration, she decided to yield that calling and pursue Single Mother by Choice via donor IUI using a fertility clinic. It took her four tries and many ups and downs over the course of a year, but she is excited that she is expecting a little one at the end of April. You or someone you know may be in the same boat, whether deciding what to do when the maternal clock starts ticking louder, struggling with fertility, or just a building curiosity about options. You'll hear my story and my hope is to bring a few others to the session to share their unique stories in using assisted reproductive technology (artificial insemination, IVF, fertility medication, etc.) in hopes of achieving the dream of being a parent. The hope is to share my/our story, answer questions you may have, and ultimately give you hope. :)
