Mending & Hand Sewing

6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center

Learn basic sewing while making a repair! Have an article of clothing languishing due to a rip, tear, missing button, or something else? Bring it in and make it look brand new again! You will benefit the most if you are able to bring in an item of clothing that needs mending, matching thread (always go with a color darker than your garment), a size 10 needle and small sharp scissors. If you don't have an item but would like to practice, we will have example projects you can work on.

Bring one of the following:
a cupcake!
a fat quarter
metallic thread
various buttons
volunteer hours for this class as a facilitator (must be an approved TS facilitator)
