Homemade Pizzamaking

If you identify as a pizza lover, pizza addict, or pizza afficionado then this class is for you! I will be teaching the techniques and best practices for making pizza at home. No, not with Digiorno premade crust but fresh dough. During this 90 minute class we will discuss the various ingredients needed, how to best handle your dough, what cheeses to use, how to choose the right sauce, and various topping combinations that'll be sure to impress. You will observe a cooking demonstration and maybe even get to sample some of the finished product.

Bring one of the following:
*I have attended a training and arranged with Trade School to be the class volunteer
fresh produce
local food items (olive oil, peanut butter, candy, eggs)
local ground coffee
something else you'd like to offer (my contact info is in the registration email)
unique note cards/thank you notes
your favorite book with a note explaining why

About the teacher, Samantha Avanzino

Samantha is a maker and doer. She loves to cook, craft, and create new things, whether that be making a new recipe to entertain friends or building furniture from scratch. She works in the non-profit world and runs a food blog on the side. She was born and raised in Nevada but loves calling Indiana her new home.
