Come learn how to make a beautiful felt throw pillow to decorate your own home or to make as a gift! Sewing with felt is very forgiving, feels great in your hands, and creates a beautiful graphic product. You will learn some modern geometric designs that you can mix and match during class. You can work in bright colors, neutrals, ombre, etc - whatever your style! In this class, you will learn an easy sewing technique, cut and baste your felt, and get started sewing! These techniques and designs are something you can take home and use again in many combinations to make an array of designs. *Students will be provided with basic felt for the pillow's base, needles, glue for basting, pins, and thread but will need to provide the supplies listed as the barter item. If you cannot provide the needed supplies please contact Trade School 48 hours prior to class.

Bring one of the following:
SUPPLIES - 5-10 pieces of felt no smaller than 4x4 inches (or equivalent in larger pieces) & something to stuff your pillow (cut up strips of old t-shirts or fabric, craft stuffing, soft foam, etc)
SUPPLIES + a surprise for your teacher - ball of yarn from natural materials, live plants, dark chocolate, flowers or anything from your garden
SUPPLIES + thimbles and sharp scissors to share with your classmates
SUPPLIES + volunteer for this class as a facilitator (email Trade School before class)
