DIY Beard Balm and Beard Oil

6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m.
Trade School Indy
1125 Brookside Ave
Indianapolis US

If you or your sweetie enjoy having a soft and shiny beard, but don't enjoy paying a premium price tag, this workshop is for you! Learn to make both beard balm and beard oil with premium carrier oils like grapeseed, olive, or argan, and "flavor" them with your favorite combinations of essential oils and resins. (FYI: the beard oil is vegan, but the balm is not since it contains beeswax.) *You will need to bring one 2-4 oz glass jar with a lid (baby food jars or 4 oz. jelly jars work great!) and one 2 oz. bottle with a dropper top!

Bring one of the following:
*I have attended a training and arranged with Trade School to be the class volunteer
*REQUIRED: supplies listed in class description

something else you'd like to offer (my contact info is in the registration email)
Sourdough, kefir, or kombucha starter
Yarn: cotton, wool, or wool-blend

About the teacher, Carrie Sample

Although professoring might be the way she pays the bills, Carrie Sample is a student of life: a reader, a maker, a mother, a dancer, and a writer. She believes in living her truth everyday--part of which includes sharing knowledge and friendship with every person she meets. She wants to know, and not just believe, that the world is round--on buses, planes, and trains--or through food, good books, and conversation with others.
