Come create with us! This class typically pops up every few semesters with much success. Learn about the fun world of Mail Art, websites where you can start swapping with people around the world, and create some art in class to send to loved ones. What's my definition of mail art? Creating something beautiful that will bring the recipient joy when they open their mailbox. The best (and most challenging) part of mail art is to NOT USE A TYPICAL ENVELOPE. =) Creating envelopes out of other things is the fun part. A ziplock baggie, a folded poster, anything can become an envelope with some tape, glue, or staples. Feel free to bring some materials and ephemera! Ephemra: written or printed items, typically with short-term use like ticket stubs or napkins with a cool logo.
