A small vegan neighborhood cafe located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. At Wild Leek the focus is on seasonal local ingredients made into familiar vegan comfort food.  Everything is made in house daily using whole natural ingredients and our juices and smoothies are made right before your eyes!

iMove - in my own voice arts association

Located in the Northend, iMOVe approaches youth engagement and community development from the bottom-up. They're dedicated to meeting people where they are, and provide them with the tools for building a strong sense of self within their own communities. They offer an inclusive and comfortable environment for people to explore and express their creative passions, identities and opinions. Also, they believe in and apply restorative and harm-reduction approaches to suit the needs of the people to have positive impact with our community.




The Radical Imagination Project, founded in 2010, aims to study, broadcast and celebrate the intelligence, passion and creativity of social movements.

Based in K’jipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki (Halifax, Canada), unceded Mi’Kmaq territory, it is an action research platform co-directed by Max Haiven and Alex Khasnabish.

Through interviews and focus groups, public events, writing and collaboration, the project aims to both understand and contribute to the radical imagination in responsive, reflexive and responsible ways.
